Indus Earth Trust is a Pakistan based, not-for-profit organization working in the area of sustainable development. Established in 2000 to aid neglected coastal communities in Sindh and Balochistan.

VISION

Our projects target the main underlying issues affecting coastal areas. Our goal is to raise living standards through sustained community empowerment and a continued presence in the area.

The IET approach to interventions is of Integrated Development. Our programs uplift and benefit communities in a holistic manner. It is our belief that this methodology results in long lasting and sustainable change.

WHERE WE WORK

IET works mainly in six districts in the Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan. This area has a population of 3 million. We have also expanded our work to include urban “katchi abadis” in Karachi.
